Hugo the Hedgehog

Hugo the Hedgehog is thoughtful, inventive and happiest when he has a small project to work on. Deep beside the Fern Forest path, he discovers a hollow beneath the leaves and decides it could become the perfect hideaway. Flopsy Bunny finds long twigs, while Willow and Millie bring soft leaves from the pond. Hugo listens to everyone's ideas, tests the roof when the wind begins to rise and leaves enough room for every friend to squeeze inside. When rain finally patters overhead, the little shelter stays warm and dry. Hugo loves an adventure, but he likes it best when his careful thinking gives his friends a cosy place to finish the day together.
