Purpose of the Role
This fixed-term role has been created to provide additional sales, customer support and account management capacity during Lily & George's busiest trading period leading into Christmas, with a primary focus on supporting the Australian side of the business.
Working closely with the founders, this role will help ensure customers receive exceptional service and support during one of the company's busiest periods.

What You'll Be Doing
Australian Sales Support
-
Outbound calling and email follow-up with existing Australian customers
-
Introducing new products, seasonal ranges and promotions

Following up quotations, opportunities and trade fair leads

Reactivating dormant and lapsed customer accounts

Supporting customers with ordering through the wholesale portal

Maintaining regular customer contact so Lily & George remains front of mind
Business Development

Researching and identifying potential new customers

Building prospect databases and customer lists

Introducing Lily & George to prospective retailers

Supporting new customer onboarding and account setup

Assisting with trade fair follow-up activity
Customer Experience

Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally

Supporting customers with product recommendations and ordering

Helping deliver an outstanding customer experience

Building long-term relationships with our retail partners
Marketing and Campaign Support

Supporting promotional campaigns and product launches

Assisting with customer segmentation and campaign follow-up

Gathering customer feedback and market insights

Helping keep Lily & George front of mind with our customers
General Business Support
As a small family business, there may be opportunities to assist in other areas during busy periods, including customer service, trade fair preparation and general business support activities.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in great customer service and is comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.
Ideally, you'll bring:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence speaking with customers over the phone

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

The ability to work independently and manage priorities

Previous sales, customer service or account management experience

Experience within wholesale, retail or giftware industries would be advantageous but is not essential
