Help us create our next toy.

We’re inviting our community and retail partners to be part of something special — the chance to design the next Lily & George toy.

Whether it’s a child’s imagination brought to life or a retailer’s idea shaped by years of experience, we want to see what you would create. Submit your design and we’ll bring our favourite ideas to life, with selected entries developed into real samples and the opportunity to be considered for production.

Who Can Enter

We’ve created two categories to give everyone a fair opportunity to shine:

Family Category (Open Worldwide)

At the heart of every Lily & George toy is a little bit of imagination. This category is designed to let children lead the creative process — full of colour, personality, and originality. Adult help is encouraged where needed, but the magic should come from the child.

Retailer Category (Open to Current Lily & George Retailers)

Our retailers have always played an important role in shaping our range. This is your opportunity to take that one step further — designing a toy from concept to creation. We encourage you to think about your customers, what sells, what’s missing, and how you would bring a new character to life in-store.

⭐ People’s Choice

Alongside our main categories, all shortlisted entries will be shared publicly as part of our People’s Choice vote.

This is open to everyone — a chance for the community to get behind their favourite design, whether it’s a child’s imaginative idea or a retailer’s polished concept. The entry with the most support will take out the People’s Choice prize.

What Happens Next

• The top 4 entries from each category will be selected as finalists
• All finalists will be developed into production samples
• One winner will be chosen from each category
• All shortlisted designs will be shared for People’s Choice voting

Family Winner

• Prototype sample of their toy
• “Designed by [Name, Age]” tag
• Printed Design Certificate
• $200 Lily & George voucher

Retailer Winner

• Prototype sample
• “Designed by [Store Name]” tag
• $500 Lily & George credit

• $100 Lily & George voucher

✏️ How to Enter

To enter, simply send us:

• A sketch or AI-generated design
• A name and short description of your toy
• Optional: colours, materials, or inspiration

Terms & Conditions

• Family Category is open worldwide. Retailer Category is open to current Lily & George retailers only.
• The top four entries in each category will be selected as finalists and developed into production samples.
• Each category winner will receive their sample as part of their prize.
• All winning entries may be considered for production at Lily & George’s discretion.
• By entering, you agree that all designs and ideas submitted become the property of Lily & George Toys. Lily & George reserves the right to develop, modify, and commercialise any submission.
• All entries must be original and must not infringe on any existing intellectual property.
• Finalists and winners are selected by Lily & George Toys. All decisions are final.
• People’s Choice voting is based on public engagement and does not determine the main category winners.
• By entering, you agree that Lily & George may use and share your design, name, and story across marketing channels.
• Lily & George reserves the right to moderate, select, or remove any entries at its discretion.
